OSTARA – Spring Equinox
Cacao Ceremony online
Sunday 20th March 4-7 pm
Come and drop into this powerful day with Mama Cacao and allow the energies of Ostara to guide you into the heart of what you are planting and nurturing in your life. We will gather around a virtual fire, set intentions for balance, and step into the light that is shimmering beneath the surface of everyday life. There will be space to share as well as teachings and rituals to help you reconnect with the power of Nature and this pivotal marker in the year.
Rebirth, resurrection, and renewal
Hope and setting intentions
Planting the seeds for personal growth
Celebrating divine femininity
Ostara is also a wonderful time to work with the elements, as the energy of Earth reaches out to us in fresh ways. The newly emerging herbs and plants of the season lend energetic properties that we had limited access to in the colder months. Some of my favourite Ostara festival traditions revolve around earthly elements.
What is growing in your life right now, not only around you but also within you?
How can you trust your process of growth more?
How are you being asked to bring more balance into your every day?
Where do you need more patience within your life?
What do you truly need right now, and what needs to change for you to receive it, fully?
On the pagan Wheel of the Year, Ostara marks the first day of Spring. While we observe the Spring Equinox on March 21st, Ostara is often celebrated from March 20th to 23rd.
It is a time of planting new seeds, both physically and spiritually. At this time of year, we see new life springing forth, filling us with renewed energy to bring about the best version of ourselves, to create the ideal world that we’d like to see, and to write our own destinies.
We celebrate the seedlings popping up through the dirt as a sign of rebirth, fertility, and new beginnings. Just like the flowers, we needed the chill of winter to hibernate and regenerate so that we can blossom to our full potential.
On the Spring Equinox, night and day are of equal length, reminding us of balance and regeneration.
It’s a time to check in and make sure that we are taking steps to nurture ourselves, providing our spirits and bodies with healthy nutrients, and cutting out anything that may be interfering with our growth.
With equal parts light and dark, this day is a perfect place of balance within the year. It represents the dualities of nature: masculine and feminine, good and evil, above and below, yin and yang.
The first day of Spring is also a significant turning point in the year, where light begins to overturn the darkness we have been hibernating within for so long. It ignites our hope, provides clarity in setting a path for the coming seasons, and gifts us with a reason to celebrate.
Come welcome in Spring in all its glory, connect and be in community on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. Whether this is your first or one of many Cacao ceremonies, please feel warmly welcomed!

What others have to say about working with me:
Working with Annabelle has given me the container I need to let go of what no longer serves me and to embark on a transformative journey. She creates a beautiful medicine space and paves the way for us to do our own work while she walks alongside us.
Annabelle has made it her life purpose to be a guiding light for others treading the path which she has walked. She shows up with integrity, openness, and honesty. She is down to earth, nurturing, and uncensored.
I see Annabelle simultaneously as a lighthouse and an anchor. She has spent her entire life gathering tools and doing her own work and freely gifts her knowledge and wisdom. She holds space authentically and generously, giving her heart and soul to those of us who’ve been blessed to cross paths with her in this lifetime.
Looking forward to sharing this celebration with you,
